It’s been over three years ago that Musical.ly’s lip-syncing app, now known as TikTok, first became popular with additions and teens. The social network has expanded since Generation Z: TikTok was downloaded 1 billion times, including 96 million in the United States, according to estimates by research firm Sensor Tower.
The app itself revolves around sharing 15-second music videos tuned to music, which is always licensed by artists and record companies. However with ssstiktok tool you can get lot of amazing benefits. TikTok is now preferred not only for lip synchronization by 14-year-olds, but also by comedians, athletes and yes, brands. Large companies such as Coca-Cola, Nike, ABC and Google run TikTok advertising campaigns. Even Khloé Kardashian was paid to post sponsored content on the platform. But the app isn’t just home to ads: TikTok is also zero for some of the most popular memes on the internet.
You may be forgiven for feeling that you do not understand TikToku. The application is fast and chaotic, it combines elements of Spotify, Snapchat, Vine and Twitch into one social network. Here’s what you need to know to get started, from TikTok “Challenges” to coins and original sounds.
Getting Started: Set up an account
The first thing you need are headphones. There is no way to enjoy TikTok without sound. After downloading the application, you can start browsing videos immediately. But if you want to publish something yourself, you must register an account.
You can create an account using your email, phone number, or a third-party platform such as Facebook. The application will automatically provide you with a username. When you register with TikTok using your phone number, the application creates a common username, such as user1234567. Using an email address can create a more personal ID (although this can be a privacy issue for users). To change your username, click on the icon at the bottom right, which looks like someone’s long body. Then click Edit Profile. Here you can turn it into something unique and also add a CV, photo and profile video.
TikTok accounts are usually public, which means anyone can see your profile and the videos you post. To adjust these privacy settings, click the three dots in the upper right corner of your profile. To the right of each TikTok video you will see a number of icons. The first will take you to the profile of the user who posted it. Then there is the heart that works like hearts, or likes, on Instagram. This is followed by comments and then a right arrow to share each TikTok with other platforms. Click on the arrow if you want to copy the link to a specific TikTok, for example share it with iMessage. (Note for left-handers: Using TikTok can be difficult, at least initially because it always points to the right.)
The last icon is a turntable with outgoing notes. It is an excerpt from a song that a user plays on their TikTok. Click on it to see the title and artist of the song, as well as the source from other TikToks who also have a share. For example, “Fake ID” by Riton and Kah-Lo – a popular TikTok song – was featured in more than 1.4 million videos featured on the song’s page. These clips are probably not the full size “Fake ID” TikToks on the platform, but more on that later.
Are you ready to share your own TikTok? First, tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. The camera opens and reveals a red recording button resembling Snapchat. Before you start recording, you can add a song so that your lip sync, dance, or sketch is on time for the music. If you want to record something now, you can jump ahead and start recording without a music track and add music later.
Like Snapchat, TikTok has many AR effects that can be applied to videos, which will do things like change the color of your hair or eyes. Click Effects on the left to scroll through them. The World tab contains options for environments, such as a delicious-looking augmented reality pizza. There are even special effects designed for use by dogs and cats.
To the right of the recording screen is the Beauty button, which gradually removes dark shadows under the eyes. Below is the filter menu. Unlike Instagram, whose filters now have iconic names like Mayfair and Valencia, TikTok just counts. The last and most important feature here is the timer, which allows users to record videos without constantly pressing the record button. This is made possible by the original TikTok dance videos.
